Under the  direction of the  concept of “ pursuing global leadership in technology and lean manufacturing.”, and on the basis of strong ability in research and development and experience in manufacturing, Zongshen kept improving its quality insurance system and formed a world level lean manufacturing base of large scale, high standard and high efficiency.

Due to the instability of the quality of domestic parts, Zongshen set up a first high leveled parts manufacturing base of its kind to meet the higher and customized demands of customers, thus enabling the in-house making and quality improving  of the critical motorcycles parts. It also improved the quality of “made- in- china” and laid a solid foundation for Cyclone Plan. Zongshen’s in-house making parts include :non-ferrous special..die casting, machining, welding, stamping, air in-take system, plastic injection, seats, painting etc. These parts can not only meet inner demands, but also supply for for other customers , and become new profit-making points . with the investment of 328,000,000 RMB, Zongshen has built a non-ferrous metal special die casting plant. It greatly improved the quality of existing domestic aluminum alloy die casting parts to meet higher customer demands; the machining center owns 11 machining lines and over 1000 sets of machining equipments. By using the computerized automatic technology, it conducts the finish machining of engine critical parts like crankcase, crankcase cover, cylinder, gears etc and insures good quality of these parts; 25 world top level CNC computerized tube bending machines were used for one-off tube bending of functional and structural parts; High accuracy molds and flexible fixtures and jigs are used in high-quality stamping parts making; Over 100 welding robots are used in welding parts making to ensure the low stress value and greatly improve the safety, comfort ability to meet the requirements of 6∑. A core-melting process exclusively owned by Zongshen are used in air in-take system manufacturing; In plastic injection, digital and automatic material delivery and s material feeding through sealed tube are adopted to insure the high products quality;  The painting plant is equipped with world top ultraviolet radiation painting line, Italian constant temperature equipment and automatic painting process to insure the consistency and flexibility of painting. Computerized styling and plasma cutting technology are adopted in the seat manufacturing, enabling better appearance longer lifespan and  more comfort of the products.

Zongshen engine products include motorcycle engine, auto engine, general purpose engine, outboard engine and hydrogen-oxygen-driven engine. Totally different from traditional way of assembling, Zongshen implements lean manufacturing in the whole process. Lots of advanced equipments were adopted from Europe and the America in its manufacturing, such as flexible production line with automatic shifting, automatic oil praying machine, group controlling machine for driving and driven gear, magneto dynamic balance equipment. etc…thus the quality and performance of the products are fully ensured. Lean manufacturing concept realized by process quality control takes place of old assembly production pattern. Zongshen makes use of a lot of world advanced equipments, such as, automatically shifted flexible production lines, gears grouping machine, rotor balance tester and so on so forth.

Zongshen also has the largest power production manufacturing facility which is made up of 6 flexible assembly lines, 5 French SAMES painting system and US CRACO fuel feeding system. Zongshen General Power machinery company owns both super production lines and on-line testing facilities.

Zongshen conducts 100% final tests on power products, including appearance, quality, safety, performance, accuracy of spare parts, speed, torque, frequency, durability, aging test and so on.
