It's widely known, advanced technology is one of the core competitive power of an enterprise. On accepting this idea, Zongshen Industrial Group has invested RMB300,000,000 to build up Zongshen R&D Center, which is national technology center, including designing center, testing center, engineering center and 30 labs. Besides, Zongshen frequently communicates with science researching institutions in and abroad, such as Chongqing University, Tianjing University and so on.

Zongshen plays a leading role in R&D in domestic engine field, especially in  the core technology of combustion analysis, energy-saving ,environmental protection, and elastic suspension. It optimized its R&D procedure and improved its technical management level through the application of PLM method, and maximized its ability to satisfy the customer’s demands.

In the design center of Zongshen R&D Worldly advanced design analysis software are applied in the process of product development, such as Surfacer, Moldflow, Alias ,Megma and PRO/E. It is capable of carrying out the reverse engineering, dummy product development, digital prototype, digital assembly and validation . Design center has styling room, clay model room, and owns a lot of internationally advanced equipment such as 3 coordinate measuring machine, ATOS optical scanner, FDM fast prototype machine etc.

In order to unify the testing standard and ensure 100% qualification of products, Zongshen built up a national first level testing center.

The testing center has more than 30 professional labs, such as transmission lab, shock absorber (MTS)lab, CVT automatic engine dyno, motorcycle extreme temperature lab, clutch lab, SUPERFLOW racing bike chassis dyno , brake and parts test bench, environmental lab, combustion lab, flexible welding system, French valve seat guide grinding machine etc.

A second national level measuring and gauge center was built in Zongshen specially for engine and general purpose engine testing. It can conduct 100% pre-assembly inspection on critical parts,  100% inspection on critical process. And 100% loaded off-line inspection, insuring the consistent and stable quality of the products.
