MR.Zuo Zongshen was Honored as THE CHARITY PUBLIC FIGURE OF CHONGQING CITY

The 10th anniversary of CHONQING CHARITY COMMITTEE and commendation for excellent charity public figures was held grandly on Nov.4, 2005. During the meeting, 16 warm hearted public persons including ZUO ZONGSHEN were honored as THE CHARITY PUBLIC FIGURE OF CHONGIQNG CITY . ZONG SHEN industrial group, HSBC and other 4 companies donated 720,000 RMB to CHONGQING CHARITY COMMITTEE. Municipal government consultant GAN YUPING, ZHANG WENBING, YU HANQIN and National People's Congress Assistant Director Kang Gang You attended the conference.
Some ordinary residents were also honored as THE CHARITY PUBLC FIGURE OF CHONGQING CITY excluding the 9 enterprisers as ZUO ZONGSHEN.
During the past 10 years, Mr. ZUO ZONGSHEN and his wife Madame YUAN DEXIU (one of the earliest directors of CHONGQING CHARITY COMMITTEE) have contributed about 2 million RMB to the COMMITTEE through all kinds of means under individual or enterprise's name.
It is reported, in the past 10 years, CHONGQING all levels of charitable organizations have collected about 35 million funds including money and goods. About 100,000 persons were benefited by the 10 Helping-poor Projects such as assisting elder people, orphans and poor students. |
