Flexible Automatic Press Project

Since November 2006, PIAGGIO production line has run for two years. With the rapid growth of output, the load of production equipments is continuously increasing, and the aging of tooling and equipments are speeding up (which is especially serious in press fitting of trunk parts). Mean while, the new engine products of PIAGGIO are gradually increasing and the existing equipments can no longer meet the demands of producing new products.
A new press fit method accordingly must be explored to lessen investment in equipments and improve the compatibility of the equipments. Upon discussions and communications with the President, Flexible Automatic Press program is determined.
At present, the project has been finally accepted and successfully entitled with two patent rights (CN200988136、CN200995320). |
